Easton's Article Private Test Screening

The evening of Thursday, October 6 was an exciting time for DreamCatcher Productions, especially writer/director Tim Connery. The feature length film Easton's Article was shown to an invitation-only audience of local filmmakers, artists, and community supporters.

A Blu-ray copy of the movie was projected at Mindframe Theaters in Dubuque, IA. The audience was asked to screen and then evaluate various aspects of the film. "This early feedback is so crucial in helping to find your target audience and develop a marketing strategy", said Tim Connery.

Coinciding with the private event was a fundraiser, which will help cover film-festival submission costs. Items were placed on silent auction and limited-edition silkscreened movie posters were sold. The film is being sent out to a number of A-list festivals this year (including Sundance, Slamdance, and SXSW), in hopes of premiering at one. Easton's Article is the second feature film to have DreamCatcher Productions act as executive director.
