Lake Delhi
Trailer
Details
Synopsis: On July 23rd 2010, a storm dumped over 9 inches of rain on the Lake Delhi watershed causing the most significant flooding ever experienced on the lake and by the surrounding communities. As a result of this intense rain and the high water levels, the lake began to spill over the road at the Lake Delhi dam at 9:30 am Saturday morning July 24th. This started the events that would lead to the complete breach and collapse of the roadway at the dam, allowing the entire lake to spill through the breach onto the property and communities below, emptying the lake and leaving behind a landscape of destruction. This documentary is the story about a flood and a dam breach, but it is much more than that. This is a story about a way of life. A way of life enjoyed by generations and at risk now unless all pull together and decide that no matter what - "We Will Be Back."
